Center of America
The mission of the Community Loan Center of America is to promote and expand employer-based responsible, affordable small-dollar lending by mission-driven community-based organizations and social enterprises as an alternative to predatory small-dollar loans.
CLC America is operated by Texas Community Capital (TCC). TCC is a non-profit lending intermediary providing loan products and development services to Texas CDCs, CDFIs and other community development organizations.

We are proud to offer an affordable small-dollar loan product through a network of local & regional non-profit lenders who provide borrowers with financial counseling, and some report the payment history to a credit reporting bureau to improve and/or build the borrowers’ credit file. Our loan product saves the most financially vulnerable hundreds of dollars in interest and fees.
